  • No Server Communication: This data never leaves your device at any time and is not sent to any server or third party. The website operator has no access to your entered data.
  • Complete Control Over Your Data: You have sole control over your data. If you clear your browser's cache for this site or delete the "Website Data" in your browser settings, all your stored information will be permanently removed from your device.

Progressive Web App (PWA) & Service Worker

This app is a Progressive Web App and uses a "Service Worker". Its sole purpose is to cache the application files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images) on your device to enable complete offline functionality and faster loading times. The Service Worker does not collect or transmit any personal data.

Data Backup (Import/Export)

The app offers an "Export" function. This function creates a JSON file containing a copy of your locally stored data and saves it directly to your device (e.g., in your "Downloads" folder). This process is initiated entirely by you, and the created file is not transmitted to any server. You are solely responsible for the secure storage of this backup file. The "Import" function allows you to load such a file back into your browser's local storage.

Google Drive Integration (Optional)

This app offers an optional feature to synchronize your data with your personal Google Drive account. This feature is completely voluntary and must be explicitly activated by you.

  • Authorization: To use this feature, you must authorize this app to access your Google Drive. The authorization process is handled entirely by Google via OAuth 2.0. At no point does this app have access to your Google password.
  • Limited Permissions (Scope): The app requests the minimum necessary permission, specifically the drive.file scope. This scope grants the app permission only to access files that it has created itself. The app has no permission to read, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive.
  • Data Transmission: When you use the "Save to Drive" function, a copy of your data (the same data that is stored locally) is sent directly from your browser to Google's servers and stored in a file named genshin-pity-tracker-data.json in your Google Drive. When using "Load from Drive", this file is read from Google's servers and loaded into your browser's local storage.
  • Revoking Access: You can revoke the app's access to your Google Drive at any time via your Google Account security settings.
